This Southwestern gathering will bring together Tribal knowledge keepers, farmers and growers, seed stewards, youth leaders, Elders, botanists, nonprofit organizations, and community members to share knowledge, teachings, and experiences surrounding Native plants, traditional agriculture, seed sovereignty, land stewardship, and Indigenous foodways.
We envision this gathering as a space rooted in respect, reciprocity, relationship, and Indigenous leadership. Together, we will have an opportunity to strengthen connections among Southwest communities, the lands and waters we care for, the seeds and plants that sustain us, and the generations who will carry these teachings forward.
