Join us at Vermejo (Raton, New Mexico) for a two day strategy session centered around community and the development of the Indigenous Land Stewardship Institute.

Our programming will begin with dinner on Thursday and end after an afternoon session on Saturday.
Flower Hill Institute will cover sleeping room accommodation (based on single occupancy) and meals on site for two representatives per invited Tribes.
Travel to and from will be on own.
Plus one’s will be self pay.

Overview
We are hosting a gathering of the Nine Tribe Coalition, indigenous professionals and organizations, the private business sector, and other key stakeholders to discuss where we go from here and further develop the Indigenous Land Stewardship Institute.
The two day session will include communal meals, ceremony, story telling and further refining the Indigenous Land Stewardship Institute concepts and strengthening our relationships between and amongst each other as Tribes, our relationship with the Ted Turner Organizations and National Indian natural resource organizations moving forward.

Directions to Castle Rock Camp, Vermejo:
Please do not rely on Google Maps, Apple Maps or similar to navigate.
From Raton, NM, take NM 555 (York Canyon Road) west from Interstate 25 exit 450 (Tractor Supply Store). Follow NM 555 approximately 32 miles to the end of the pavement.
Continue on the gravel road roughly 3/4 mile and turn right at the Vermejo sign.
Follow the main road 2.4 miles to the Vermejo Electronic gate. At the gate box, please enter 6463#
Continue west on the main road through Vermejo Headquarters (crossing the Red Bridge) approx. 9.6 miles to the turn to Castle Rock.
Turn south at the Castle Rock sign and continue 1.8 miles SSW to a 4-way intersection.
Turn right at the intersection and travel west 3/4 mile. Take the ranch road SW that leads to the Castle Rock barn.
